Covid-19 Precautions

Given the latest recommendations from the State of NC, we wanted to take a moment to let our customers know the steps we’re taking here at SolarShine Express car wash to keep you safe, to keep our employees safe and to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 in our community.

✅ We will be sanitizing our pay stations, vacuum claws, vending machines and door handles hourly.

✅ Our crew will be wearing gloves while cleaning and will handle touching the screen for you at the pay station if you’d prefer. We encourage our customers to handle inserting their own credit/debit cards into the chip reader.

✅ If preferred, customers are welcome to wave off our crew and handle their own transaction at the pay stations.

✅ We will provide disposable gloves for customers who would like a pair to use while wiping and vacuuming their car.

✅ We are requesting that customers come to our towel cart to exchange their towels rather than handing them out the window to our crew.

✅ We encourage customers to have an empty vacuum stall between cars if at all possible. We will be running extra vacs and coning off every other space, even on slow days, to allow for more spacing.

Thanks for continuing to come see us this week and going forward! These times are a strain on all small businesses. We will continue to adjust our processes as needed with a focus on you, our customer, and our community. We can all work together to prevent the transmission of Coronavirus/ Covid-19.

Since we are an Express wash, you are never required to get out of your vehicle, and our employees will never need to get inside. We think we can keep car washing safe for you, and for us, while we weather this health storm. If you need to get yourself or your kids out of the house, come see us to get out without getting out (of your car)!
